Editorial policy

Infusion Guide is an evidence-based reference. We would rather say “we don’t know” than dress a marketing claim in clinical language.

Sourcing

  • Guides need at least two sources. Ingredients need at least one.
  • Prefer primary sources and recognized references (NIH, FDA, CDC, Merck Manual, Texas statutes, peer-reviewed papers) over blogs and clinic marketing pages.
  • Every article lists its sources at the bottom, with the original titles.
  • We do not invent statistics, dosages, studies, reviewer names, or clinic contact details. Missing facts stay marked as TODO until confirmed.

Evidence scale

Ingredient uses are tagged with one of four levels. Color is never used alone.

Established

Standard medical use with strong evidence.

Emerging

Some human clinical data, not yet conclusive.

Limited

Mostly lab/animal or small/uncontrolled human studies.

Unproven

Popular claim without meaningful supporting evidence.

Independence and disclosure

NeuMed Modern Urgent Care + IV Therapy publishes this site and offers IV therapy in Houston. That is disclosed in the footer, on About, and on labeled “From the publisher” callouts. Body copy of guides is not rewritten to sell drips. UTM parameters are added only to booking links and those labeled callouts — not to editorial citations.

What we will not do

  • Testimonials, star ratings, or before/after claims.
  • Forms that collect health information.
  • Language like “cure,” “detox,” “boost your immune system,” “reverse aging,” or “FDA approved” unless we are quoting or refuting a claim.

Corrections

If something is wrong, we want to fix it. Email TODO: public corrections email and we will review the sources, update the page, and change lastReviewed when a clinician signs off. Until that inbox is confirmed, you can also reach the publisher through neumed.com.
