About Infusion Guide
Infusion Guide is a plain-English reference about IV infusion therapy. It exists because most writing on the topic is either a clinic menu or a scare piece. We wanted a third option: sourced, medically reviewed, honest about uncertainty.
Who publishes this
The publisher is NeuMed Modern Urgent Care + IV Therapy, a Houston clinic group that offers urgent care and IV therapy. That relationship is disclosed on every page. Editorial pages are not ads; publisher callouts are labeled “From the publisher.”
Houston readers who want care can start at Getting IV therapy in Houston.
Why NeuMed publishes it
Patients ask the same questions at every visit: Is this safe? Does it work? What is in the bag? What does Texas law require? Infusion Guide is the public version of those answers, written so you can read them before you book anything — here or anywhere else.
How medical review works
Each guide and ingredient entry names a reviewer, a published date, and a last-reviewed
date. A reviewer is expected to read the piece, check claims against the listed sources,
and update lastReviewed when they sign off. We do not publish star ratings,
testimonials, or forms that collect health information.
Evidence tags follow the scale on our editorial policy.
